Mona Vale Childcare Centre for Acre Woods was made possible by the construction of a raised platform over the lane between Pittwater Place shopping centre and the Mona Vale Hotel. This effectively increased the lettable area for the landlord (Multiplex) and allowed the childcare centre to be a maximum of 90 places for Acre Woods.Rooftops over shopping centres are an ideal place for childcare because there is usually abundant car parking and passenger lifts and it is convenient for parents. There is rarely any affect on other commercial tenancies apart from the increased traffic to their businesses. |
