LANE COVE HOUSE

about this project

previous       next

This 1930′s bungalow was dark and enclosed at the rear with a number of make shift lean-to additions. The client wanted a modern entertainment room adjacent to the existing kitchen which would open to the newly landscaped garden. The result is an expansive pergola-like roof with very large glazed sliding doors allowing the room to be completely open or completely closed and always bathed in natural light. This extension is the envy of all the many visitors.
