A classic, timber mid-century Australian beach house with perfect orientation was in desperate need of modernising. Michael Bell Architects have created an extra level with the same design features as the original bungalow such as large highlight windows and skillion roof. The main living areas, parent’s room and guest room will be upstairs taking advantage of the views while the ground floor will become a kids rumpus room and bedrooms.
