NSW (Reg. 6335) VIC ( Reg. 6492) SA (Reg. 2765) Originally from Melbourne Michael Bell established the company in Sydney in 1997 to provide clients with a complete architectual service. MBA now practices in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide and many rural locations. The community expects buildings to be relevant in the long term and all people read buildings with in-built awareness. Our clients benefit from a precedence based design approach that ensures sustainability. Michael developed his skills prior to establishing MBA through years of training at prominent commercial architectural firms in Sydney. Roger James Architects provided experience in restaurant and bar design, where Michael worked on Jordans in Darling Harbour and the Denny’s rollout. At Stephenson and Turner, he worked on hospital design and masterplanning in Sydney and Indonesia. Media Five Sydney office provided experience in hospitality with Park Royal hotels where Michael worked on the restaurant and lobby fitouts with the interior design team. A brief stint at Firth Lee provided exposure to light industrial projects in Sydney’s west. At Michael Suttor Architects, Michael Bell achieved the role of Project Architect providing the very best in luxury home architectural services over a 7 year period. This was instrumental in developing Michael’s respect for traditional and elegant design along with a sound understanding of a successful business model. It was through Michael Suttor Architects that he had the opportunity to work with Michael Love Interior Design and also began a long association with Thomas Hamel Interior design. MBA applies the same rigour to commercial architecture having recently completed 20 commercial childcare centres for a range of clients mostly in commercial buildings. Michael travels regularly between Sydney and Melbourne. |
