Michael Bell Architects is always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team.
Our office is located in Ultimo, close to the centre of Sydney and well connected by public
transport, with Central Station a 15 minute walk away. Local cafes, Wentworth Park, Broadway
Shopping Centre and the Sydney Fish Market are easily accessed by foot at lunch time. The
office is situated at street level of the heritage listed Dalgety Square wool store, and we have
access to the gym, swimming pool, and outdoor BBQ area within the building.
For fabulous nightlife, the new Darling Square and Central Park precincts are also a short walk
away.

Current Vacancies

Project Architects
We seek experienced and talented registered architects (or intention to register within 12
months) who bring with them solid experience of the design process, technical detailing and
contract administration, and specifically, in the supervision of bespoke residential projects.
Successful candidates shall be responsible for projects at various work stages and therefore
must have a thorough knowledge of construction details and the ability to produce presentation
drawings. Candidates must be capable of operating alone and unsupervised as well as attend
site meetings and communicate with clients. Candidates ideally will have experience of operating
AutoCAD LT, though this is not essential.  No prior experience of traditional or classical
architecture is necessary provided individuals have a passion for the work we do.

Administrative Coordinator
This is a part time role of 4-5 hours per day, and extremely varied in nature. From being the first
point of contact when clients and colleagues phone or visit the office, the successful candidate
will also assist with council applications and other project administration and correspondence,
plus be motivated to keep the office tidy and running smoothly with everything we need.
Confidence with word, excel and powerpoint are required, along with experience using current
technology and various social media platforms.
