British Colonial Residence, Point Piper
A local heritage item, originally built in the Federation Queen Anne style, MBA completed extensive alterations and enhancements, making seamless additions to the front of the property, as well as a swimming pool, separate dwelling, and garages at the rear.
The style of interior renovations, a collaboration between Thomson Carpenter and Michele Bell is sympathetic to the original style of the building, but suitably contemporary for today’s lifestyle.
The Point Piper land, named after Captain John Piper who acquired the land in 1816, offers a fabulous view of Sydney Harbour.
Builders: Gabriel O’shea & Tom Walsh
Interiors: Thomson Carpenter and Michele Bell
